rs or gs it doesnt matter, like i said in the other post, if hes using coil(s) pack(s) it WILL NOT WORK

you need to know weather its a 1.8 or 2.0, if its a 2.0 no it wont work, the 2.0 runs off coil pack distributerless ignition

saying rs i think its a plymouth laser, and on laser with the rs trim package, it will either be 2.0 nt or turbo, and probally does not use a distributer, what you need to do is look under his hood or have him do it and find out if the sticker says 4g63, (2.0) or 4g37 (1.8)

course, it's hard to miss the big DOHC valvecover. ;)

lol, but i said that to actually make him look, ;) :rolleyes:

this should be a pretty easily self answered, question, all ya gotta do is look fer a distributer, and refer to msd's website, then voila!! question answered,... but i felt generous, with the freeby easy information sooo :rolleyes:
