Anyone figure out how to DISABLE the FACTORY ALARM yet??

i've searched through almost every old "factory alarm" thread, i can't find a definite answer on how to remove/bypass/disable the factory alarm...

I've read about grounding some wires and pulling some fuses/relays, but i don't know exactly what to do.

Has anyone been able to get around it?

i have my new alarm, i still ahve the old one too :/ iunno how to get rid of it yet--- i'd like to know tho, i just cant lock my doors with the drivers side door open hah,

depending on your year

tie either the Green/White, Brn/White, Brn/Blk to ground depending on your year
located behind the kick panel on the drivers side

just check the polarity and function of the wires before tapping into them to see which is correct for your car

is the kick panel the one on the clutch pedal side (by the fuse box), or is it the one near the gas pedal where the ECU is?

and where do these wires run (to/from)? I tried looking for these a while ago, but i couldnt find them.

and one more question.....do you know where the relays are for the power windows/door locks? My passenger side PW isn't working and i want to check the relay.

they are in the huge mess of wires thats down there

I belive the relay for the power door locks is behind the driver, below the 6x9 speaker, under the plastic cover

You'd be best getting a service manual - as this will tell you everythin you need to know about wire/relay locations

I don't have an aftermarket alarm yet so I still rely on the factory but from what I read, there's no way to disable it.

Anyone figure out how to DISABLE the FACTORY ALARM yet??
