im interested in some info on the fprced performance red.
At what rpm does a 7cm red hit full boost on 8.5:1 compression with all the supporting mods.im hoping for low 4000 rpms?
what kind of whp could I expect on pump gas?

a guy with a buschur longblock and an FP RED in the tri-state area hit like 500awhp on pump gas, but that was a little bit ago. That's the only setup I know numbers from with an FP RED.

I know the RED can go to like 600 or more HP, it's a pretty insane turbo...

You are not hitting 500AWHP on a RED on pump...sorry. On RACE GAS, yes.

Spoolup on the RED depends on the exhaust housing. For the spoolup range you are looking for, get the 7cm^2 housing.

On pump gas, low to mid 400's with a good tune is possible.

But was this with a 7cm or 8cm housing? The 7cm probably helps spoolup quite a bit.

what he said.. i had a RED on a stock bottom end 1g 2.0 w/ web street grinds and the trubo ran like ass on pump.. but race gas was INSANE!!.. when i had the buschur 20g on that same motor i raced a friend that had the RED on his car and we were both on pump gas, and i left him by a couple cars... on race gas though... he left me by ATLEAST 6 cars w/ a stock bottom end 7.8:comp motor. then i bought a red..good turbo but not good for pump gas.. ive since sold that turbo to a friend that is local, and i got a FP3575 and a 3065 to try out on a stroker motor now... if your looking for a pumpgas toy..the RED isnt the turbo for you. id look into the GREEN, L2R or a buschur 20g or some other 20g w/ a td-06 housing or a FP3052 maybe.

I have an agp rs 65 and I run it on the street and I love it. I make full boost at about 4200-4500 rpm's I can rev to 9500 though but the lag is well worth it. On race gas I run 35psi and man is that shit fun :)

actually a guy in union, nj probably someone has heard of him, his name is andre and has a 99 white gsx. on regular pump on red he dynoed at 513 awhp, but the kid is a genius at tuning and rebuilds his engine every 6 months.

andre doesnt have the car anymore and he was not running a red..... he was running a 50trim with custom specs.
