The other day my buddy(talon4g63tt on here) told me about this kid that we know talking about getting tired of getting beat by litte turbo cars. He has a 97 trans am. Well, tonight i dropped my girlfriend off at home and on my way home i was sitting at a red light and i saw this kid in his red 96 firebird formula turn right onto the road. As soon as my light turned green i hurried up to catch him, and he must have noticed me because i heard his exhaust start to get louder and his car really started to move. Luckily we get the next light red. I rolled down my window to see who it was, and it is that kid with the 97 T/A's friend.I used to talk to him a little when i was still in highschool.
So we started to talk and I saw his passenger look down at the writing on my side skirt(16v DOHC Turbo ALL WHEEL DRIVE
). His faced changed and he said" you got a turbo, don't you", all i said was yes! ...Sure he's raced a turbo before, but has he raced an all wheel drive ? Porbably not.
The light was about to change so i sat it up at about 5 grand, my clutch foot was ready to let go and my other anxious to put the peddle where it belongs. As soon as i saw the tree light up green, all i saw was the stars and two headlights in the rearview. I smashed second at 6 grand and the whistle from my ssqv rang out. I see the tach and its time for third already. Gas out, clutch in, and slam third. By then they were so far back i just quit.
