after all the issues i had with lowreing a car, i know have the stock spring on with kyp gr2. and for the first couple of days the ride was solid and comfortable at the same time. i loved it. for the first time i had the suspension i want. but as days went by the suspension is getting worse, the car shakes everytime i hit a bump and the car does not feel stable on the freeway. like when i change line on the freeway, i feel like i'm going to loose control from the back end.
i'm just wondering if something else is broken?
or should i just buy a stock shocks?
or could i install adjustable shocks on stock spring?

i appreciate all the help.

I dont know much about suspensions, but im in the process of learning right now, but maybe those shocks are for a 2 inch drop or something and they are staying stretched farther than they are supposed to be. If thats the problem then a stiffer shock for the stock ride height would probably give you what you want and wont have that issue. BUT that might not even be the problem, its just the idea i have

My 1g was like that...When it was on pro-kits and gr2 struts...I got strut braces for the upper front and rear and it changed dramtically (sp?) It could be something totally different with your car but...They are cheap and can only help.

I don't think the band aid fix of strut tower braces is what you really want to do. Yes, they will help, but it's not fixing the real problem. Have you jacked the car up and checked to make sure all your bolts are still tight? If my memory is correct (all 1 brain cells of it) then the GR2s are a stock replacement strut and you shouldn't be having problems with a stock setup. Get under your car and I bet the answer will jump out at you. The fact it's progressively getting worse makes it sound like something is loosening more and more every time you drive. Check it out.

i do have the bump stops, althought the front one are cut. i ordered four new bump stops when i got the shocks. i have checked all the bolts and everything seems to be inplace and all the bolts are tight. i even took my car to a shop where i told them to tighten all the bolts one more time.
