well my CRX was stolen and i sure loved that car but i guess i'm kind of glad i was forced to look into other things and this sure is a nice transition. i just got myself a deadstock good condition 1992 fwd tsi eagle talon for $1900 with 107,5xx on the clock manufactured october 1991 so i would assume it's a six bolt. good deal?

i'm still very new to the dsm/turbo but i jumped on a deal i found online
Maf Translator (MAF-T)
3in. GM maf
metal upper intecooler pipe
2G throttle body elbow
Tial BOV
K&N filter

all for $340 is this a good deal or should this newbie get kicked in the head for jumping into deals he don't know about? i'd appreciate any suggestions and comments on what should be next on my upgrade path. thanks guys i love my new car.

Congrats. The GM MAFT is not a necessary mod at this point. A boost controller, K&N filter, exhaust, 14b would be the best path in my opinion. That deal is pretty good however, if you are set on it then you are not getting ripped off. Good luck.

and keep the new bov recirulating, yes it sounds cool but it really messes with the air/fuel ratio. at least mine did
There is nothing wrong with venting if he does go ahead and get the gm mas and translator.

Do you got big hp goals? if not the gm mas is overkill and would do nothing but enable you to vent your bov. With the money you have i would suggest a boost gauge, k&n filter and save the rest for a good exaust to start.
