well, we don't know what type of 1/4 mile numbers yet. The car isn't tuned yet. That was only 32psi with very little tune time. The motor has only had 13 passes on the dyno, and no ignition timing or fine-tuning fuel tuning. That was on 10degrees advance ignition with 10.2afr's from 6000-8800rpms.

The motor is built to rev to 12.5K rpms, and will be running 50-55psi of boost.

Personally, we hope that the motor will put down 1100+whp, but there are already plans for different cams, lifters, turbo, etc.

The turbo is just a 94mm GT42R currently.

The car's 1st pass on the dyno made 590whp on 25psi with a 20-minute street tune going by "butt" feeling.

There is so much potential left in the car, that it isn't worth speculating timeslips or HP levels yet.

We just posted the video for you guys to check out the initial tuning progress. 3hrs of dyno time only. this is only a basemap for our future tune.

we'll see if it is at the shootout this year. Don't know yet.

Yes, it is the same engine as the startup video and the test drive video.

For everyone,

THANKS!!! This has been a 17month buildup, and alot of it was fabrication time/wait on machine shop and parts time.

Yes, the turbo is a GT42R with the 94mm wheel.

We will post another video when we go back up and dyno again -- we have some structural fab that we have to do along with a cam and lifter swap.

Sounds mean!!!
Any one else notice it doesn't have the vavle cover on?

what the heck are you talking about???

It is a shaved and polished valve cover with a coil on plug ignition setup. Valve cover was definitely on the whole time, otherwise we would have had quite a fun mess to clean up.

It's all there...

It doesnt look awd but i could be wrong, you guys are gunna be nipping at Shep's heels pretty soon man wow

The video looks nice. Could you give me a few more details about the setup? Got any pics you wanna share. :)

Is this a 2.0 engine, or bigger? Have you drove any on the street with it? How responsive is it on the street with that huge turbo?
