Thanks for all the replies. I'm definitely going to use the aluminum tape to prevent it from opening up under boost with the jb weld. BTW I used rubbing alcohol for my cleaning and it did the trick. (4 big bottles 1.29 each.)

what is so difficult to understand? he posted his problem, if you dont have an answer to it then dont answer.. if you need something answered start your own post.. its not rocket science, hell its not even 3rd grade math. follow the rules
I see nowhere in the rules where it states that you need to create a new thread for each and every question. In fact, it discourages it. As for whoring, you helped fill it up by telling him that he was whoring it up. If he's got a question that pertains to the thread, then it should be fine. If it's an intercooler thread and someone asks about venting their BOV, then there's a problem.

wow... outa hand here. i take it to a machine shop and find your self a plate of aluminum. Have them weld the plate over it for like 20 bucks. I dont no if JB weld would hold that good over time. Do it once do it right0. oringially, there is a plate that is rivet or welded in those two spots. JB weld sounds good and will work but Just another suggestion is to have it welded. For the cleaning part, gasoline will do. These forums are for help and suggestions... not insults and radicules.

Alright children... let me break it down. Threads are like topics, if you have a COMPLETELY SEPARATE QUESTION THEN POST IT IN ANOTHER THREAD! it's called keeping discussions ON TOPIC.

Asking a separate question whores up the topic and screws with the discussion.

Summary: if you have a separate question, then ask it in another thread. BE CONSIDERATE or gtfo.

but yeah for sure i knew how to clean it but i rememver seeing blue liquid in a preludes intercooler that was sticking out of the car i was like?????? am i missing something
Oh now I know want you're talking about!
Thats "fast juice" All Honda's that are turbo'd get that stuff.
Working in conjunction with the polyethalene sensing fluid, it can sense how much vinyl has been applied to the vehicle. It then manipulates the space time continuem and multiplys the gain in horse power per sticker by 1.5!!

*note; if there was blue liquid in someone's intercooler... its probably not a good thing.*
