I have a '95 Eclipse RS with 420A , Auto..>It has the Hydraulic tensioner...

Belt broke, now I am replacing everything incl valves...

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Mechanical Timing Belt Tensioner offered through Parts Dinasour? Good or bad opinions???

Should I try it or just spend the extra cash on Mitsu's stock Hydraulic tensioner....

All right guys he's sporting the 420a in that thing. If I remember correctly from my neon days, the mechanical or spring tensioner is far more reliable then the hydraulic tensioner. I say go to the neon.org forums and search for your answer there.

Geesh, what's wrong with a 420A??? LOL..Kidding.... ;)

Thanks for the link...I'll have a look....It's just such a PITA to get in there I only wanna do it once, may end up doing it 10 times, but I don't wanna have to do it 20 times because of unreliable parts....Thanks!!! :D
