Hi everybody, I'm new here and I need help. About 6 months ago I was running 9.2 @ 76mph in the 1/8 on stock exhaust with a removed muffler, a manual boost controller, underdrive pulley, and a homemade upper i/c pipe with a blitz bov.(95-gst) Well since then I have had the tranny rebuilt, and I added stuff like a real upper i/c pipe, crushed first gen bov, 2.5 inch downpipe, test pipe and cat back exhaust, ported and polished TB and TB elbow, and I took her out to the track and my best was 9.5 @ 75mph. But I was hitting tens as well........ouch, I was really embarassed. Also my 60 foot times were like 2.6-2.8 when they used to be 2.1-2.2, what happened??? Why is she running so slow??? Shoulden't it have gotten faster with the new mods??? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No, it was very hot and dry when I ran those shitty times, also I have used thirty dollar tires on the front and a brand new clutch. I was just hoping to get faster after spending around 600 bones on new goodies, or at least a higher mph. I have an S-AFC sitting in my garage but I can't decide if I want to sell it or not, do they really make a difference???

KEEP the safc

the more goodies you get the sooner you'll need the AFC. i would need an AFC now if i wasn't selling my baby :( if you add a high flow fuel pump then you'll need an AFC for tuning. just make sure you have an EGT when you start to tune.
