Hi Guys! :)

Just want to know if it can be "streetable" to use a Spool Center Differential or to weld it ?

I heard about aggressive wheels hop in tight turns but I think I can avoid it...

What do you think ? :)

Sorry if it's a repost, the Search doesn't seem to work since a few days.

Thanks! :)

I have the spool in my car. I do like it, but on tight slow turns it is really annoying. For instance going to park in a parking lot, if you are going slow enough, the spool will stop you before you want to stop, so you have to give it gas and take off again slowly. It's kind of hard to explain. I would recommend the Spool from TRE to anyone however. You're never going to break it, you get better 60ft times from it, you can easily dyno with it in there (just have to drop the T-case), and you get rid of the extra weight of the viscous coupling inside the tranny.

Dont weld the diff, unless you plan on just racing it. It will break if drive it on the street, the wheels fight each other and put alot of stress on the drivetrain. And personal I think it makes them handle like shit.

I could be wrong but I am pretty sure TRE uses the Speed Designs 4-spider CD. I think you are referring to the "TRE Spec" CD spool?
Yes I was,
So what the difference between the Tre Spec spool and the Speed design 4 spyder center diff?
Besides the speed disign is alomost double in price?

Okay guys im new to this forum and the car I just bought already has a welded center diff...and I drive the car on the street. Is there anyway that I can get the TRE spool instead? Or can I not do that because I already have the welded diff?
