I never understood running 2 bov's that just holds more pressure.. so if you run like 30+ or people that run like 20 can do it too? lol.. just wondering..

The best way to accurately crush a bov is to do it will monitoring the opening point of the valve while pumping it with vacuum. Hand pumps work best for this. Crush it and test it....crush it a little more and test it.

You want the valve top open at a vac level just over the vac reading you pull at idle.

Real information in this thread :D http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Garage/8384/crushBOV.html There is a link to properly crush a 1g blow off valve. You can also do the turbo dodge mod and make it hold like 30+ psi no problem. For what its worth the 1g valve is perhaps one of the best ones you can own. Alot of after market valves were designed around it and its because the valve works.

www.dejonpowerhouse.com sells a stop leak kit for the 1g or greddy bov's that will allow it to stay closed at much higher boost levels and still retain the quick release feature that they came with from the factory.

My 1g was holding a good 20 psi or so from my 50 trim for a long time. Then i did another leak test and found it opening at around 14. I did the stop leak kit and it's holding 21 without a problem. Just another option to consider.
