I'm SO in. Big brakes for less than 500 bucks....... I am surprised rr engineering hasn't com up with somehting like this to sell......

Plese contact your friend and express the interest for the bracket and list all the parts needed....
Chances are once RRE (or anyone else) put a kit together to sell, they'll want to add in their own cut and before you know it, the price is right up there along with the Baer. Just think of the profit margin Baer's retailers are making. Pretty sweet deal.

Wow, I can't believe this was almost a year ago...

Anyways, I just bought a slightly used Baer 13" track kit, slotted/drilled with matching slotted/drilled rears (and stock rear calipers) with all pads for $400. Now the question is will they fit my 16" Enkie or52s. Anybody know if they will fit with some caliper clearencing?

16"? No way. I know for a fact that a friend of mine had to machine his Baer Track calipers down to fit the 18" Niches he had.

Doesn't this have the link to BAER with the template to download?

Goto their website and download it, it's a sure fire way to find out.

Chances are you are SOL. they have been known to fit 16"s but only in some cases. Don't ask what because I don't know off the top of my head and I am pretty sure it was for an F-body application :D

sorry to bring back the old... but if you know how to design in cad... you can have 2 sets of brackets made for maybe 100 bux

f-body?

i dont know much about us made cars,

but i've rounded it down to

- MUSTANG 95 CALIPERS
- CORVETTE CALIPERS

no AUS domestic car use them here, not sure about the MONARO but they do offer the DOMESTIC v8's (GM's) Commodores the upgrade package which do use the 330mm rotors and calipers to suit from the corvette

the domestic cars here use the 300mm rotors

alot cheaper, just how do they perform?

PBR are a big company. Ford, GM and BEAR all use the same caliper... from PBR. The difference is the words cast into the side.

The Commodore (I thought it was called the Monaro) uses the same dual piston caliper that the Mustang and Corvette use... and it's native to you :)

F-body is a Firebird/Camaro. Look up the late model (98+) LS1 engine versions, they use the caliper you are looking for.

thanks for the info!

if its a monaro part, then its gonna be pricey!!

from what i've learnt from pbr / holden guys down here,

the 330mm rotors / caliper combo are from the corvette and are an upgrade option for the commodores

the caliper i am after are from the holden sports vehicles (HSV) which pbr are not allowed to resell, only HSV have the rights to sell these specific parts

although i have found a local source for the rotors but not the caliper yet, so i will be sourcing it from the US.

thanks mate
