vfaq helps alot trust me

"...speedometer cable hole. This hole is located slightly below the brake master cylinder. The hole is much bigger than the actual speedometer cable, so there is plenty of room. The cable is surrounded by a rubber grommet that you can pull out towards the engine to open up the hole. Once you get a few wires in there, the rubber grommet will no longer fit, so you will have to close up the hole some other way if you want to. The advantage of using this hole is that you do not have to cut up the car at all, and the hoses, wires, or whatever come through the firewall up high behind the brake pedal. They will be accessable if you lay in your drivers side floor and reach up. They will be out of site and out of the pedal travel path."

Uhmm, go through the big rubber boot that surronds the steering wheel shaft. It is a great place to go through. Just make a litlle hole with a knife or somthing and run right through it. All the room you will need for a 2GA. Power wire and whatever else you want to pass through.

Drill a hole, your only problem is finding a drill bit (prefferably a uni-bit) big enough to fit 2ga thru.
I would try to avoid the steering wheel boot if you could. Drilling a hole in the firewall doesn't hurt the car, as long as it is done properly it will be fine, and use a grommet and sealent..

you can fit anything you want through the steering boot, that is how I fit my wideband connector through there which is pretty pig

Yeah, I hated doing it but I went through the steering wheel boot. Questiona bout that: I made a small hole for the boost gauge tube, but it seems like the boot is ripping just slightly. Any way to stop that from happening? Also, I wonder if the hole will let any engine bay gasses into the car? I just dont want to smell all that stuff.

I'm going to look for the speedo cable hole and see if I should reroute using that. Also, on the passenger's side there's a hole if you lift up the carpet under the glove box, on the firewall. I can't remember what it is... anyone? That's where my stereo wires are through.

Froggy, I think what you're referring to is what I used to run my 0 gauge. It's just below the stock battery location (from the engine bay), so it was convenient and it's also where my wideband wires went through and I don't have to worry about wires getting loose under my feet or my feet getting tangled (somehow) on them. I don't think you have a speedo cable (mechanical) either froggy, I believe it's electrical.
