I wish I had a decent race story, but there isn't much competition around here to play with so here are my stories:
Weekend before last:
Pass a honda prelude on the hwy and the girlfriend sticks her tongue out at him (which i didnt know until after). A few minutes later he pulls a flyby of I would guess about 100 MPH, so I lay on it and go by him at about 130; to promptly slow back down and enter a heavy traffic area of the hwy. He soon after is found doing another 100 MPH pass in the breakdown lane/right lane. Ya, I will play on the hwy, but cmon, be a little safe. So I just let him go. He got off the next exit.
Wednesday night before that:
Was travelling home with a few other cars, and I was in front, driving up a SMALL windy road. An older mustang (86ish) comes weaving in and out of our caravan of cars. Eventually he reaches me and gets RIGHT on my arse. I hate that. I would go, while he revved his engine etc, so he jumps out next to me and flys by me, up to the T intersection ahead and stops at the sign and waits for me. I get there he revs and peels and revs, so I decide to bite. He fires out onto the straight road ahead, and I follow, gaining on him, and passing him like any normal highway type pass, up to 120, and shut down, to maneuver the curves ahead. I go to turn around to regroup with my friends after wasting the guy, and he says nice car, i return the compliment and say thanks, and begin to head back. He jumps on my ass again. This time I don't bite. Once is enough. He fly's by full bore and I dont see him again.
A couple months ago:
Base 3000GT ends up wanting to play, I know the guy. We get into some twisties and fire through them, I end up passing the guy in a turn onto a bridge, he turned into his lane, me onto the oncoming lane, where I pass and get in front of him at about 70 MPH in the curve. We play around for awhile before the straightaway, where I leave him abandoned at about 140 MPH.
It was nice to know that I made my lead in the twisties. It takes away his ability to say that he couldda had me in them.
