Yeah, having the matched dejon stuff and a 1g helped a lot. I feel bad for you 2g guys sometimes.

It's still possible though, just get a couple 180's and cut them to size and angle.

I havn't heard it yet but i know it doesn't leak which is good.

I'll drive it tonight for sure and let you all know about the sound.

But overall so far, the look alone was worth it.

Haha, right? I figured the tuners community would roast me alive for it.

Anyway, on the test drive tonight. Even with rain and the windows up, the BOV is much louder than stock.

But i think more than anything, i'm just very pleased with how the look turned out. And for how easy the whole project was i'd recommend it. Shines up your engine bay, and makes things a little louder, BUT louder safely.

I couldn't have left it venting, I'm a little better than that i hope, haha. But it was still something that was fun to try on one BORING ass night in my town.

Anyway, continue to check out the pics a few posts up and let me know what you think.

You live in midland, I wouldn't blame you. If you crush the stock 1g bov, you can vrooom pshhhhht all you want without fear of/ I've already said too much.

My friend has a second house on wixom lake. We buy dirty thirtys and cruise on the lake (not at the same time).

Looks good. :D

Nice guys! Michigan represent!

I think pretty much anywhere aside from maybe d-town, ann arbor, or east lansing would suck in this state. And those 3 are even a stretch.

I'm glad you all like the mod, it was a fun little project. And SUUUUPER easy to do if you've got a nice straight shot like mine.

That looks pretty damn sweet. I've been trying to think up a good way to do that with my 2g for weeks now. I have all Dejon stuff, but the return tube doesnt point straight at the BOV so it makes a nasty angle I can't figure out, and there so close together it's hard to get anything in there. Even the stock rubber hose is kida kinked in the middle. Even if I were to shorten up the return tube on the intake, I would still have to get rather creative to make the angle work. You've inspired me with the sink parts though. Problem is I would need only like 2 or 3 inches and getting a bend in there would be a PITA.

Um. . . please take this to PM's. This has NOTHING to do with anything in this thread. And is quite rude to me, the OP.

On another note, i would think about making these for people if anyone is intrested. But the chances of someone having my same set-up is slim. And i wouldn't have a clue how to do it on 2g's. I still think it's a worthy project though, especially if you want a little more bling for teh cheap.

I read this thread and thought "hmm..i wonder what that thing sounds like when vented?" So I went outside and tried it. Holy crap that stock thing is loud  . The car ran like shit though, always stalling out:( so i recirculated it back. The thing that sucks though, is that when i replaced the stock intake pipe with a hard pipe, the bov sound got quieter (when recirculated ofcourse). If the sound is really any louder with your setup like you say, i would consider buying it. So exactly how much louder is it than with the stock return hose?
