Wow those are cheap, would be nice if they did fit, it appears the bolt pattern is correct or probaly close enough.

I know the bolt pattern will work, what I don't understand is the offset and the backspacing

Vfaq's tire/wheel guide thing is apparantly only for 2g cars, so I can't tell you. If you do get them and they fit, I want to see some pics.

Terrible photochop. With a -12 offset (which is used on RWD), they'd stick out by more than two inches.

You can get the 7in rims with no offset.

Hey those are the same rims I was looking at for my slicks that I just picked up for my first gen fwd! Im glad Im not the only one thinking about those. The backspacing is how far the center hub is from the edge of the rim and offset is how far it is off center of the rim. There is a really good guide in the tire and rims section that I printed off and has pics to explain it better. It may also be located in the vfaqs too. Other than that I think the rim will fit. You can allways get a spacer if you need it. Take your current rims off and do some measuring to get a better feel for backspacing and size. FYI; My friend bought some similar style rim and ran 3" or 3.5" backspacing and they stuck out a couple inches he also needed a spacer. Please let us know if you buy them and how well they fit up.

You can get the 7in rims with no offset.

The 7" rim would be too narrow for a decent sized slick.

But the 7's would be perfect for a set of 225/50-15 BFG Drag Radials for the DOT Street Class.

Yea or just go 8" and get real slicks because youll need it once you start making good power.

Found these cheap but nice rims while i was looking at those rims. I think they would look really nice and are really cheap, $46.99 for 17's.

1G rims are the same size as 2G rims. The ones I have now are the turbo rims the 5 spoke not swirlys and Im pretty sure they only came on AWD 1G Talons. So correct me if Im wrong but that would mean I have 1G AWD rims on my 2G FWD.

Those are nice! Summit usually does have good prices, fast shipping for free, and I have allways had good service from them.

The class I race in does not allow slicks. Some of the rwd guys are running in the sixes in the 1/8th on DRs.

umm the only 5 spoke i know of came on 2gb gs and gst, then the 10 spoke came on the gsx... so that owuld mean you have 2gb wheels on your 2ga
