today I was driving home from a water park on the highway, and I was building like 1lb of boost, I was like wtf...so I look under my hood right quick as my temp guage nods up. The pos stock plastic pos bov is split at the cap and its guts (the spring) are hanging out i'm like wtf this thing is a pos..soo I dont have any money for stock 1g bov quite yet, but I was wondering still using the stock UICP can I just rip the 1g bov with the flanged fitting from the car and use it in place of the 2g bov and fitting? I'm going to tape that plastic pos back together or super glue it..pos

The EVO 9 BOV is more like a stock 2G. Not exactly identical, but you can use the hose/clamps that came w/the 2G, you will not need a flange.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortuately I have a 1g with hard pipe 1g flange. I'm sure I could rig something but I'm probably better off with either a crushed 1g or dodgegarage mod.
