Im from Canada, and I was wondering if there were any shops that would sell/ship that particualr pulley...I cant find any...let me know..
Thanks for the link...Its going to be very useful....Thanks again!!!B1itzeclips said:Howell Automotive sells them exclusively. Click on Eclipse/Talon when you enter the site, and look for the AFX in their catalog. you are GUARENTEED to find it. Great choice by the way, quite possibly the best pulley for our cars..
That pertains to the 4g63 guys. Their accessory pulley is also a harmonic dampener. Unorthodox is good too but that stuff is a little pricey. I just bought mine from ebay and I think it's just as good as anything else, plus it shaved 6 pounds of rotational mass.wangboy925 said:what about Unorthodox crank pulleys? and i also heard about upgraded crank pulleys being unbalanced or not dampened or something of that nature...... any thoughts?
obx. A lot of people wont buy their stuff cuz they think it's crap. My mentality was: "It's a crank pulley, how could they possibly screw that up?"wangboy925 said:so our cars dont need a harmonic dampner? and what kind of pulley do u have?
I have the bomz and I am really happy with it , the craftsmanship is good and it gives detailed instructions so if your going to be getting an ebay pulley thats the one I would get.wangboy925 said:ok thanks for the help guys, but one last question before i go, the bomz crank pulley they sell on ebay looks like a really reasonable price. But knowing ebay some stuff is junk. im kinda tight on money so should i buy the AFX, Bomz, or unorthodox pulley?
thanks guys

The way I see it is that the pulley is something that is directly associated with the crank and the timing belt of the engine. It's not really something I want to f*ck up, right? I went stock replacement because mine was going out.nemes1s said:Well acoording to unorthodox, they say that the damper on modern cars are barely more than a small oring size piece of rubber, and it does virtually nothing to dampen an engine. I don't have any personal data to back this up, so feel free to post comments. I have a 4g63 that has b/s removed and is balanced and blueprinted, and I'm considering a used unorthodox setup.
