Simply Amazing. Great attention to detail. And we haven't even seen the power adders yet..... what are they/whats the plan?
Well im lacking that bit so far, and i've just booked a vip trip to the last F1 race in brazil this year:) So I wont have that mutch to spend on the car this winter. The motor have to wait.

Plans for the winter are..

- Repaint (awful in the paint now).

- More weight saving with carbon hood, new trunk with makrolon window, remove crash bars and replace them with aluminum brackets.

- Coilovers and new bushings everywhere.

Im not really in desperate need of more power, handling is prioritized.

The long term plans are a BR20g or equal, eagle rods with wiseco 9.0:1 pistons (for more low end power). Lag has to be kept at a minimum so no bigger turbo. A tre tranny and probably dsmlink for the ems.

Great work! I can't wait to see more. I wish I had the time to do this to my car... keep it up!

Unfortunately the ecu burned a couple of weaks ago, no more driving this year:mad:

But as soon as I get time over the car will be stripped again;) I've got many ideas of improvment. Shaving more weight is the main goal.

how did you go about fixing the windows inside the doors? great build by the way. did you ever get to weigh the car?
Just bolted them in the door. It weights 2770lbs with 2/3 of gas. The aim is to get it down to somewhere around 2650..

very nice, I've been wanting to put lexan in the hatch and doors for awhile now, I think I might finally do it. have you checked out this thread? http://www.dsmtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135843

theres quite a few guys that are in that weight area, so you might get some good ideas, but I'm sure you know what your doing. Please keep us updated the car is great looking.

Yepp, I've seen that thread and got some ideas from there.

Next I will buy a cf hatch and put lexan on it and a cf hood. Been thinking of removing the pop ups if I can find a cf hood that covers them. I'm also gonna replace the crash bars with aluminum brackets and replace the tank with a fuel cell. And I have plans to modify the roll cage with bars to the front strut towers for more rigidity but thats another story.. no shortage of ideas anyway, just have to make them happen:)
