I just purchased some JE pistons for my 6-bolt 2.0 and tryed to fit them with the eagle rods but the f....... wrist pins slid straight through the 400 and some odd dollar rods.......they arent floating pins so what the hell happened any advice would be appreciated. Do I need different rods or different pistons Ive miced every thing out but I dont know where to look for the specs.......

On the first gen, six bolt motors the pins have to be pressed in, on the seven bolt they are "floating" wrist pins. My pins are about .005 too small. what do I to remedy that? do I need to rebuy the pistons or the rods...........

They are probally floating pistons, and you should have some clips that came with the pistons.
