If its only 27k just swap it to AWD, its easier to do that then to find another low mile car. Mileage is one of the most important things to me when I look for a car. All the other things can be bought or fixed, taking the miles off a car cant be done, legally.

I know how this kid feels. I rushed into buying my first DSM which was also a FWD. I spent I think 2700 on it and it had a bad tranny. I bought some simple shit for it, intake and uicp and some other little stuff and the wound up finding a gem of a awd for 1500 with low miles and no problems. picked that up, swapped the parts from the fwd to the awd and then sold my fwd... simple equation really. now i just regret selling my awd.... stupid leaving for the army.

He bought it with 25k miles....

The car needed a few minor body things I believe, has low vacuum at idle, and very soon after he needed a new clutch....Also some electrical issues with the aftermarket alarm, I dono....

Its not perfect, but if it truly does have the miles the odo shows, yes, its a really good find...

i would be the happiest man right now if mine had only 27k. Keep it and take good care of her and she'll run forever. As was previously said, just find a wrecked gsx or shop around for parts and do an AWD conversion yourself. It's way better than selling and getting a gsx with more miles and who knows what condition.

Damn..mine has 6 times as many miles. You are lucky. Cherish this DSM. I'll buy it for $6001

Man, you're feeling regret for all the wrong reasons. I have a gsx with 80k on it and I only recently bought it to walk into a slew of problems. I'm leaking A LOT of oil possibly due to a bad turbo or bad turbo seal....had to get a new alternator, may need a new clutch master or slave cylinder, have idle surge problems, and had to get different wheels because the previous owner bent the crap out of the originals. DSMs are not the best daily drivers in the world but I'm using mine as one. With a little luck and some work I think most of my problems could be fixed pretty easily. Tons of problems should really be your only concern and with so few miles you should be fine as long as you take care of your car. And believe me, AWD is nice but FWD won't limit how much power you can make. Just don't beat your car into the ground like a lot of people tend to do.

Why are you feeling like your car wasn't worth it? I dont get it dude.

I just got a GST with 80k on it for $4000. And here I thought I found a DSM that has low mileage for its age =/...... so sad. And plus, FWD is fun.

Get a GSX and keep the low mileage GST. Everyone will envy your low milage. =)

i love my GST lol....fwd cars r fun....but im planning to buy a awd for the track...

keep that car man....u wont ever find another dsm with those kind of milles and for that price...u got a gem right there....late
