They have the silverstars on sale at advance auto for 25% off until the 25th of november. If you can get the ultra silverstars they are even better and brighter yet!!.

I love the silverstars but they only last between 9 months - 2 years. If they last shorter tell the person at the store that they should have lasted longer and see if they will replace them for defect.

AWWWW MAAAAAAAAn he beat me to it :p

I work for Advance, and have been told they don't last as long because the gas in the bulbs burns hotter than standard halogens. That's how they're a different color, but it does shorten the life of the bulb.

A tip for making them last a bit longer...do not touch the glass while installing them! Handle them only by the plastic base, and if you just absolutely have to touch the glass, use a dry rag or wear latex gloves.

Your fingerprint on the glass will actually draw moisture when thebulb heats up and POP, there goes the bulb.

Just in case some didn't know:D

I have the Silverstars in my car and I like them a lot. My friend with an s2000 asked me what bulbs I had cause they're so damn white. They are more expensive but I say they're worth it.

I used to have those eurodesignz bulbs and they sucked. They looked like somebody took a blue poop on your headlights. When you shine them on a wall you just see two blue hotspots.

I'm also debating of whether I should get those diamond clear headlights. I've only seen them on ebay and they're pretty pricey so I always decide not to buy them. Do you guys that have experience with them like them? I'm also wondering about going HID too, but that's more money that could go toward my suspension.

I took a couple of pics with lights off to show the condition of the headlight plastic. They are not perfect but not yellow either.

Looks good. I've been really happy with mine, but the life could be a little better. I was surprised when my girlfriend told me one of mine were burned out after about 2 years, but after reading some of the other responses, I guess that's normal. ~$60 every 2 years isn't so bad.

I had some cheapo's from my dads shop on my 94 dodge ram and i went over a curb at like 15 and one broke...
I only had them for like a month MAYBE. Gotta watch the fingerprints on those things though....it'll burn right through the glass, or so it seems.
