How do you know it's FWD? The post above implies he is fwd, i was just playing devil's advocate by saying it was AWD. My assumtion is just as good as yours.
The guy above you was talking about his own car which is FWD. But I'm not assuming, just asking you. I thought maybe you knew more about the car.

That is a sick idea and the car pictured above is gorgeous. If i didnt live in chicago and i didnt drive my car daily this would be on my modlist. So much for that tho, i'm enjoying the sleeper look much more.

Ive done it with sub boxes, spoilers, interior parts and its not hard...However, my advise on something with so many compound curves (bumper) wouldbe to use the vacume bag technique. They are fairly pricey once you get to the large bags, bt its pretty easy to make your own.
Where do you get the supplies to do that kind of thing?

Thats preposterous, thats like saying oh hey don't get rid of that back seat, it has weight lets duct tape it to the front end so we can get better traction...???
I hate to say it.....but...well, don't be alarmed cus they have support groups for this but...yalls cars are highway dwellers....

Lighter is better. In almost ANY situation.

I wanted to do that with my car, fenders, hood, bumper, hatch, doors, dash, seats and anything else that can be carbon fibred!! It would be light as hell!! Weight loss increases handling to. Well to a certain point!!

mine is being finished right now im having it build while im deployed to iraq. CF doors, fenders, hood, bumper, and hatch. but with the new info guess i should call VIS and get the sides and rear done (only to fit my paint scheme)

If you don't mind me asking, how much did that run you? Looks good though. All black would be cool.
I paid $800 shipped. The biggest pain was that I had to wait for them to fill a container to parts, then I had to wait for them to fill the ship with containers, then for the ship to make the trip from Japan. It was worth the wait!
