I have a 1995 gsx with 1 g bottom end and 2 g head, it was working fine and all of the sudden , while i was driving it started idle at 3500, and the check engine light went on... Anyone hlep please....

get a scanner and see what the engine code is....
be more specific. At what speed were you driving and what exactly happen, you were at like 4500 rpm and then it would go over 3500 or what? i dont see how the rmps just droped and hung out at 3500....details.

check your throttle cables too, something could be pullin on them which makes the idle go sky high like that.

Seriously. Threads with CEL's should be closed down. We're not nostradamus to tell you what's wrong with such little description. Now you're saying it came up with a code. That's your problem right there!!! Don't ask us, ask the damn car. It'll tell you what's wrong. Come back with a CEL number then we can tell you what to fix or look for.
