It's $150 im looking for a good quality product and the $50 ones I have seen dont look like much. Not saying it's like the $50 doesn't work, but...

I want to know if the DSS is a BS part thats over priced or if it's really better than the other stuff out there.

Well from the description i know this. It has to be bolted together instead of welded together, witch makes it weaker. They also refer to a NASCAR panhard bar which if you ever look at one you will realize that you can never compare the two.

Ah, the internet.

First off, the bolts allow you to set the preload, which is key to getting the most from the bar. As much as I like RRE, for example, their non-adjustable bars require a chassis that's perfectly straight.

Second, from an engineering point of view, STBs and panhard rods are not only comparable, but are very similar, in that each controls movement along a single axis.

Hard to say without a picture, but DSS is (generally) trustworthy. The key to most STBs is the end-plate. A lot of rear eBay bars (e.g., Pilot Motorsports) have a non-planar bend in a flat piece of steel between the mounting points and the bar, making the entire piece worthless for anything but ballast. That's what you need to avoid.
