What did I do?

I tried to clean my air filter today and had to take off one of the intercooler pipes to get the metal cover out/in. Now when I drive it, the boost guage sits at the bottom until I press the gas then it shoots up. But right when I let off it drops straitght back down.

It wasn't doing this earlier today.

Why did you have to pull off the ICP to get to your Air Filter?

What boost gauge are you looking at? Stock or Aftermarket?

I couldnt get that gay black filter cover off so I took off the ICP to make it easier. I'm looking at the stock guage, haven't gotten the new ones installed yet.

during normal driving, the boost gauge should be in vacuum, after boosting up, it should return.

Get a boost gauge that actually reads boost.

Yeah, I know, but its more like a dead drop straight down to the bottom of the guage.

Mine did that on the stock one also. Until i got a boost gauge, i was noticing i was getting good vacuum and figured thats why it would shoot down so fast.

Might not be the same problem, but thats what i figured for me.

What did I do?
