Went to the local audio shop, do to the fact. I Roasted my Memphis m3 15, got to talking, and heres what we came up with,

6 12" Memphis PRs

He said he could do it for me for about 400$, built box to take up only the hatch.
He said that i needed to devide all of my power, do to the fact its more then 2500watts. Hes ganna hook them up, put them in, put in a new cdplayer (200$ from my friend worth 500$ i posted a thread about this awhile back, got him down to 200$ :D)

All for 400$, Thats a deal, isnt it?

(My M3, is being sent in to get a new coil. i got a 3yr warranty on it lol)

As for now, im rolling around with 1 12" Mojo.

I Love my audio shop :D

Im curious to see how they are going to fit 6 subs in your hatch due to the fact of the minumal sealed enclosure is roughly 7.5 Cubic Feet for the 6 subs, thats alotta airspace to fit in the hatch only...im curious to see how they are gonna fit it and make it look decent. and if they were to try and do vented enclosures properly in the hatch that number would only grow.

They can fit if they are put in the right way. I ran 8- 10" subs in my last talon and you could still see out the back window and I still had the rear seats for my kids to ride in. Here are a few whys to make the speakers think they are in a bigger box that what they are really in: If the subs share the same air space on the inside of the encloser they will think they are in a bigger encloser. If you fill the encloser with polyfill the subs will think they are in a bigger encloser also.

What size alternator are you running???? You do realize that you cant do 2500watts on a stock alt. It takes a 208 amp altenator to put out 2500 watts.

You won't really need an alternator that large to run that setup. It would be nice to have a larger output alternator but you can get by with up grading the wiring going to the alternator and all the major grounds in the engine bay. Also you will need 1 to 3 caps depending on the amount of current the amp really draws. You can also upgrade the battery to a deep cycle one also. You will have to do all of these things anyways if you put a larger alternator in but if you are not competing and running low cycles contantly.

I thought that no matter what, a 75 amp alt will only supply 75 amps. I also thought caps dont increase the wattage of the system. Im sure you're right though but still, im a little confused as to how you can run that big of a system on such a tiny alt.

they dont increase the amps out put, but the amp is not always pulling the full draw. It is only pulling the full draw when it is hitting its hardest. So the pull on the alternator is not a full pull all the time. It caps help hold you the voltage and the ampege. Also most amps that say 2500 watts dont really put out 2500 watts. You can take the fusing in the amp (say it is 3- 30 amp fuses) and muiltply that by the constant voltage of the battery while it is running ( said it is 14.1 volts. you get 1269. that is what the amp can realisticly put out. Then most amp are only about 70 to 75% Efficience so take that away from the 1269 and that is wat the amp is more than likely put out at full power. It may spike higher than that at certain notes.

it doesnt matter if u polyfill or not, im saying he was told that the box will take up ONLY the trunk which means his backseat will still be in place, in order to fit the 6 subs with the MINUMAL airspace you are looking at 7.5 Cubic feet for a sealed enclosure. im running a box thats 2.5 cubic feet in my hatch area and it takes up way more space then you would think. i dont see how i could fit 5 more cubic feet of boxes in my hatch area without getting rid of the rear seat, on top of that im curious to see the design they chose for SQ itself to be good.

Stay tuned.

I say if thats whats you want,go for it,yes its gonna be loud, but some people like having a system louder than the normal joe blow tag rattler.Go for it man,and get some pics and some numbers when you are done.I know my one 15 in the spyder's backseat is gonna be sick, and im gonna be flamed but hey,at the end of the day,its what makes you happy.
