Well, I am on the market for an intake manifold. I am looking for something will help persue my 450w mark, but not cost as much. My thing is, I am trying to be legal, emissions and etc... I have noticed that all SMIM say for EGR canceled. I will need this to pass CO emissions. so is there a way to keep the emissions system and still have a SMIM, and if so, where is there info, or a SMIM that works with it.

None of the manifolds that I can think of include an EGR, so I would have to say none of them will match what you are looking for.

You wont need a SMIM for 450 you'll be fine with a 1g mani. ported. You also wont find any with egr.

You do not need EGR to be emissions legal in Colorado.

According to Air Care Colorado the visual inspection consists ONLY of:

gas cap
catalytic converter
air injection system
O2 sensor system
fuel filler restricter
"check engine" light

The "air injection" is NOT egr, it's the old "smog pump" system.

same here is CA you would have a hard time passing smog check. if you got a smim. or unless you have a friend that knows a friend that can hook you up:cool: but i think it would be a different story if you get pull over by johnny law.:wall:
