Hey guys, which car do u think will win? A RSX Type S or a 2001 Prelude VTEC? I'm talking about from a dead stop, stock vs stock. If you already don't know, I already raced an RSX Type S in my totally stock Laser FWD Turbo. The race was pretty close going about 100mph in 3rd gear and we were still neck and neck. So who do u think will win out of the 3 cars at a dead stop?

Honda is made for commute. Even the lude is designed porely. They put a sweet engine(h22) with vtec in something so heavy. Honda fine tunes their engines but does not take it far enough. I can not recall a turbo vehicle in their line. I guess they were shooting for the reliable but slow category. I have not had the pleasure of racing the rsx but with ivtec and the ability to tune the vtec I am sure it wont take that much to make it fast. My guess is the RSX, I dont know the specs but I can imagine it is lighter, better gear ratio and of course more HP. Pluse the lude is slow it always has been. Sorry any lude lovers but I smoke them all day.

i would say the RSX would from a dead stop,, ive raced a 99 prelude vtec on the hiway and ran right with it (b4 the nitrous),,but then again some cars are straight freaks off the assembly line (meaning somehow they got balls they shouldnt have had) so u never know until u line em up

ososlow, that is very true. I had a friend with a SI that had a wicked engine in it right off the lot you could tell. b16 already have a more wicked vtec but his was insane. You could hear it initiate before you could hear the exhaust lol anyways your right about that.

The RSX should win. They have similar horsepower ratings but the Prelude is a PIG. Of course, the bad driver will probably end up losing no matter which car he is in. Both cars have enough power to spin the wheels quite a bit so a bad launch can lose the race.
