Kurt ran 12.30's on home depot mods, no management, and a 50 trim. Not even an afc. Or any decent parts but the turbo. And a smic.

He was only a tenth or two slower on a s16g.
He had just gotten the 50 trim on and shortly after a timing belt went on him.
He never really had time to get anything nailed down.
Again... it was 4 years ago.

To the OP, good kill. I love DSM's with all my heart.
But I'd have me that Porsche in a heart beat.

I'm glad you posted that great kill, I had a 04 evo8 with 272 cams all supporting mods and tuned at turbo Trix car made 373whp at 23 psi 93oct. And took out alot of the big boys here in Boston. Your on race and 25 psi you should walk away.. Agiain great kill.:banana:

hahahahahahah. I just saw this video earlier today on streetfire. I was sitting here with my coworker when i saw GSX vs. TT porsche. Looking at your mods I didn't know if you could take him. But wow, way to rep DSMs everywhere. :banana:

Hey i have a question. It looks like you have a sbr j-pipe on your car. Did u have any trouble putting in the back screw that holds it on? It was a PITA for me and i had to cross thread it because it wouldn't go in straight and i tried everything.

Comparing ETs is stupid in this thread. They raced from a ROLL!

I can't argue with the video but in real life I have had different results. Either the X50 I raced was a factory freak or this one is slow. At a time when I was making over 400whp on pump I raced a local 96TT X50 and he walked me steadily. I was trapping 120 at the time. Above about 80 is where he really started to stretch his legs.

yes it is SBR's j-pipe i havent had any problems with mine actually!

Wow thats gay maybe you did cross thread it and haven't realized it? Lol mine wouldn't go in st straight or maybe the turbo was already cross threaded so that could be the reason but it seemed like the screw wouldn't clear the j-pipe if you have any idea what i'm talking about.

Great race, shows your a good driver. If i was running that Porsche i probably would have pulled a few cars on you. Maybe though, alot of times people that own exotics (not all lol) are rich and dont know how to push the car to the edge unless they are experienced racer/driver and not just a rich enthusiast. Good run though.

thanks, hes a good driver man, hit every gear fine, my car is just apparently making a hair bit more power than him
