I sat here for the last few hours reading all door lock posts and cant seem to find out the next step of what to do. My door locks will lock "both sides" but only the passenger will unlock when i go to press unlock button "no pulse on that side at all". I have an actuator that was hooked up before all this happened. So, i bought another actuator to see if that was the problem. Nope, The actuator works with power manually applied. So, next i check the relays that people talk about. One near factory alarm panel in back drivers side panel, and another under the factory radio toward the right side. I put brand new relays in both of them and still nothing. I checked all other fuses and they are good. Its only the drivers side and just the unlock part of it, while the passenger works to unlock and lock just fine. I did read in one of the posts they were saying that there were two relays under the radio on 95 Eclipse, making 3 relays for door locks total? If there is another one under there besides the one i ststed above, please let me know. The other thing is, could it be that since all this crap runs through the factory alarm, that something inside the factory alarm went bad? I printed out wiring diagrams and everything, but im stuck on what to do next. I am so frustrated with this. I will paypal $10 to the person who has the right answer to fixing this. So, is there two relays under the dash then? Thanks for helping i tried all the threads.

Forgot to mention that i also bought a brand new drivers side door lock switch assembly. Is there a relay in the door itself? I think i need to do a continuity test of the wires. What do you mean bad wire on that solenoid? On the actuator you mean? Thank you

ok I'll clarify. There should be a power lock relay behind the radio I believe. Double check just to be sure where it is. I'm a 1g guy with limited 2g knowledge but my GF did own a 2g for a year or so.

As for the busted wire. They usually happen where the door hinge is. I've heard over time the wires (this isn't just a DSM thing) at the door hinge flex and eventually can break inside the plastic casing (so you won't see them) Mr. Multimeter is your friend. Also be sure someone didn't install an aftermarket alarm and they cut the wires for the install. Just another idea.

Good luck and I'll be waiting for you to ask for my paypal account ID.:D

lmao my does that too .. i juss... use my key now.. even tho i have a viper alarm system >.<

but when it actually works, oh boy!

I would actually like to fix this as well..
