I've only owned my gsx for about a month now and today I noticed that 2 exhaust manifold studs are broken off, they're right next to each other and there is a nice carbon buildup surrounding the holes and manifold as well. I read on here that the stock boost setting is around 14psi ? Would those bolts be the reason my car only gets 10psi and i can smell the exhaust fumes from inside the car when i'm at wot ?
possible boost leak ?

thats an exhaust leak, not a boost leak. boost leak is when you have a leak before the air enters the head.
the problem you have is that the exhaust goes into the atmosphere before it actually gets to the turbocharger. fix the studs.

Ahhhh gotcha im actually going to a local mitsubishi dealer to pickup some studs anyways.

I don't know how much they are at the dealer but if they are a lot you might as well get something like this:

this isnt related to your problem-its not a mod-but make or buy a boost leak tester and do it for the hell of it-you say your only hitting 10-could be exhaust isnt making it to the turbo,might be that combined with a leak-but youll read on every "help" thread-boost leak test!
