How do I Install a Mesh Grille in a Stock Plymouth Laser?

Hey, I`m new to this site, but I`ve had my 92 laser for 4 years now. I was just wondering if anyone out there knows how to install a mesh grille in my stock bumper? I tried it, but didn`t work out too good. I tried to search for this topic, but cant find anything that helps.

get a fmic anyway. people will think you have a turbo and you will get laid fo' show.

.... i highly advise against that... i hear you though man, rocks and stuff hit my ac lines/rad all the time, pretty sure theyre gonna break soon.

Lol.. Well, I wanna go turbo sometime. But for now I gotta stop these huge dents in my radiator. Our roads arent the best down here.

Your just going to have to ghetto rig it, maybe zip tie it. This is for a 2g but lots of advice can be found in it...http://dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14128&highlight=mesh+grill

You can also mount brackets on the inside of the bumper and zip tie it on.

Yeah, I figured zip ties would do the trick. I`m getting some chrome mesh from my friend, I`ll try it this weekend. Can I do it without removing the bumper?

How about putting mesh over the intercooler, keep it protected.

Yeah... I`d have to jack up the front and crawl under there and try to fit it in. Either way, I`ll try to do something this weekend. My poor radiator...

you could mount it on there using screws but it could be mounted many different ways

I actually just did this on my 94 Eclipse. Take the bumper off, and cut the mesh a lil bigger (wider) than the opening. I just twisted wire around the mesh and the holes already in the bumer. It mounted nice and secure.
