Took the 1g Up to LSE yesterday had like 6 passes on it, made 327hp w/ 56 trim, safc, maft, c-16.....oh and its an automatic. But anyway I took it off the dyno made a couple passes on the street.... Boom!!!!! Blueish smoke out the exhaust. Blew the turbo.... Anybody heard of people having too much oil pressure and blowing the turbo seals???? So I have to get this turbo deal straightend out then I need to get a AEM Standalone. then I make the power I want..

I need ems because i have an auto and I cant control the ignition timing and the effect of that is I can't lean out my car safely and my converter is ingauging to early. MY turbo is a PTE and Im running the feed line from yhe filter housing
 
I know pleanty of a/t dsm's making good power with just an safc or similar piggyback. You don't need anything more specific just because it's a/t.

If the converter is engaging early, thats a sign you're overshooting it and you need a restalled or a higher stall from IPT.
 
Agreed, if you want more tuning control (play with timing, etc) then dsmlink is the way to go...EMS is incredible, but the price is too...$1500 + and then you need all of the assorted sensors, professional tuning, etc...

Is this a stock trans? If so, sounds like you should be giving IPT a call very soon...Even just some valvebody and stall work along with a shift kit and a better trans cooler will get you headed in the right direction...

BTW, thats a fairly large turbo, what injectors are you using that you were still able to tune with the safc? And MAF-T, well, not a fan....

I have mods done to the trans 2900 stall, new guts , three extra clutch packs
and I know I need a different trans cooler Ive got the biggest one flex o lite make on the way
