I have an N1 muffler and I am running it with a 2 1/2" straight pipe all the way back from the exhaust manifold. I was wondering if anyone has a sound clip? (1.8 L)

Alright here is a decent post. You have a bolt on catback. Find a friend that works in a shop or knows about his stuff. Lift your car and take off the bolts on your cat that are facing towards the rear of the car. Your new catback should come w/ new gaskets and bolts, if not use the old ones. It's merely taking off bolts w/ a wrench or air wratchet and installing the new catback. If you get a shop to do it you should only have to pay around 30-50$ cuz your only paying for labor which will take about 30 minutes. NOw if they are welding they might charge a little more due to the cost of parts for welding. I have had many exhaust systems and have installed many, you would not spend 200$ to put on any exhaust unless you are going to run header to a high flow cat w/ a custom bent exhaust and that's to install everything. lol i have to pay for the 2.5" tubing all the way back to i just figured it would be around that price. But anyways im over this thread. And i wanted a sound clip so if i didnt like it im sure i could sell it around here somewhere. Everyone around here wants that sound on there car. I want a deep but loud. Its looks worse then it is but wash it up armoral inside and youll have a nice lil 2.0L 90 or 91 Talon with 80,000 miles original motor. Only down fall is its an automatic. It needs front bumber, fendors, headlights, hood and a battery to run. What are these cars worth in descent condition? Well I dont know how to get pictures to work but i described it above so that has to be good enough. Its white and black. With the stock wheels on it.

You do realize even though the design plans came from Mitsubishi AND Crysler, our cars are more american than the Pontiac Trans Am, Chevy Camaro, Corvette and GTO dont you?
Trans Ams and Camaros were made and built in Canada, then shipped here. The Vette is also made in canada for the most part. The GTO is a design Stolen from Holden in Austriala.

Ive posted it before, but oh well...
3" Buschur Racing Turbo-back.....The Magnaflow muffler was what really quieted it down at idle...
When you got on it, the sound was beastly! 5000rpm 2-step (studderbox) as well...

Magnaflow on my Buschur system as well. Sounds mean as hell and even more now with the QTP electric cutout. Nocturnal obviously doesn't realize the DSM was built in Normal Ill. but why would he bother knowing that?? :wall: This thread is still fucking stupid!! uke:
