Spend the money if you can on a Weldon,
I was also thinking about going with one of them too. I'm not at the point yet where I want to focus on which exact one to buy yet, but it's the back of my head. ;)

Did some more work this morning. Some of the sideskirts are sanded and quick primered. I started sanding the door bondo down and layed a quick coat of primer on that too. Also bondoed the two holes I welded shut to try and level out some warping I ran into (used the tig instead of a mig) and I began repairing the passenger side door jam which had paint cracking from previous body work before.

I need to hit up a paint supply more and buy some filler primer, a foam or flexible sanding block to go back over the sideskirts in 220 on up, and pick up a couple more tools I don't have. This weekend I'll be pretty busy doing what I can on everything of this-maybe starting a chute mount too.

Duplicolor high build sandable primer. My first choice was U-pol (sp?) but I couldn't get over to the paint store in NJ that I know carries it.

Colours Inc. has u-pol

Not sure if any of those are close to you or not.

U-pol is really the only half decent rattle can primer.

I wouldn't trust rattle can primer as far as I can throw it though. You're best off getting a cheap gun with a 1.7-2.0 tip and spraying some polyester primer, its literally like liquid body filler and is probably the only easy way to block a DSM panel flat.

It's been a while, and I'm finally getting somewhere with the body work. The car went up to my friends place today and I spent the majority of the day masking what I could. I had a few items up in his garage that he already sprayed fill and sand primer on and they just need to be wet sanded and then should be good. The rest of the car is ready to be sprayed in the primer at least--I'm so happy right now. :D

The next time I post up pics will be of the finished product. Hopefully I have my new hood by then. ;)

Nothing worth while yet that I want to share. I will get some once it's tuned though. The tubular manifolds always change the tone of the exhaust though.

some guy come into the shop today with a printout of what you did to your exhaust and wants me to do the same thing to this car
Manifold? Downpipe? The whole exhaust? I may be interested in selling the manifold and downpipe actually--after the Ohio shootout though.

On a good note, I received a call today from my friend who's painting the car and he laid down a few coats of primer filler today so it's going to be ready to wetsand this Saturday once I have time and can get up there.
