Not deafening loud right? I had a super loud exhaust on my RS and I got very sick of it. This is my one and only car DD. So I dont want an annoying exhaust. Thanks.
If your exhaust is loud too a point where you contiplate suicide then just take it to a muffler shop and have them put a resonator on it(sorry if i mispelled)

I might be a little late but i'll still give in my .02, I bought the exact same catback from that same vendor. The catback is great and identical to the real apex'i N1. It is stainless steal, but I do have a complaint. This past winter, the whole catback survived execept for the very tip. I started to have spots on it, and when I tried taking the spots away, I ended up leaving scratch marks. So the very tip does not appear to be stainless steal, but the rest is. Overall the performance of it was really good, you will notice it from the very first start up. I had bought a real N1 downpipe and that had to be cut because of fitment issues.

It's steel man.

All i know is Ebay X Tune exhausts are garbage. At least for 2g awds i know. Had this on my car for roughly 2 months and it started rusting, here are some pics. This is the said to be "full stainless steel".

Also, there is probably a 12 inch long, 3 inch wide section of this shit near the rear o2 sensor.

Well, I'm glad that people are getting use of this thread. So this time I have been saving up, and right when I was about to place my order, I came across an Apexi Downpipe and Thermal Catback for $400. So I should be picking this up next weekend.

I would get the ebay exhaust from Japanimports....but I cant seem to find out how to get it to bolt up to an aftermarket downpipe. I would love to get a custom exhaust built, but you need a cat around here. So I will keep my stock exhaust laying around to bolt back up for emmissions.

Does anybody have actual pictures of the exhuast from Japanimports?

That does seem like such a great deal now. I just hate that I already told the guy I would buy the thermal from him. (But he has held on to it for me for a month, So for that I do thank him greatly). But if something doesn work out with that, I will probly go ahead and pick up this exhaust.

Just one question...why does there have to be resonators :p ??

So I'm bringing this back. I just got my Downpipe installed. This is the one I bought....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...PI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&sspagename=STRK:MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=150153461705&rd=1

So i get the box and first thing I notice is the Megan racing box it is in. Figured it was just the box. But sure enough, open it and it is a real Megan Racing Downpipe.

Had trouble with getting it on though. The piping was to big and hit a bracket (I think used to hold AC lines along the oil pan). So I had to bash in the side of the downpipe a little to get it to fit. Then it was the normal DSM problems. The 02 housing stripped so I just had to use a nut and bolt and try to clamp the downpipe up snuggly. I think there is a small leak coming between the 02 and dowpipe, and I will be trying to fix it in a few hours. But currently I am running open downipe and should be getting my JapanImportShop catback by the end of the week.

By the way....performance gains over stock exhaust....went from 14 psi to about 17 psi. Raced my cousin in his GTP with stock exhaust, side by side from 40 till 90. After downpipe, I had 1 1/2 car lengths from same speed.

I will follow up more when I get the catback on and then post pictures/ videos.
