The civic was probably a 2000 or so and appeared to have at least the basic mods. Anyway I was on a four lane road at a light and beyond the light the road narrows to two lanes, and this kid in the civic rolled up next to me in the right-turn only lane. I know everyone has an image in their head of the typical civic driver, but this kid was the exact replica of the kind of driver I think of. Let's see...he had a sideways, straight-billed yankees hat (strike 1), a white-trash 'stache (strike 2), and ridiculous jewelry (strike 3). Also, he was blasting 50 cent with the subs and amp that are weighting down his car. Well, he started inching forward at the light and I knew then that he had no intention of turning right and he was going to attempt to be a dick. He never so much as glanced in my direction because he was too cool I guess, but if he had he would have known by my boost gauge alone that he had made an unfortunate miscalculation of his odds of success. Too bad for him, because I wasn't going to let this one go.
Green light. I launched perfectly with just a little chirp of the tires and once I hit second gear I was gone. I have an evo 3 16g and I just happened to be running at 22 psi that day. I got up to 55-60 mph or so (in a 45) and slowed down and as expected, he got right up on my tail and gave me the finger. Then, in the no-passing zone, he passed me anyways, but I didn't care because I had embarrassed him and pissed him off and I was enjoying it. Just when I was thinking it couldn't have gone better he slowed down (barely) to make a right turn, and in an instant I saw his car lose traction and go skidding sideways out of the turn and jump the curb. LOL!!!! I'm not sure what happened to his car but I would say at he at least destroyed both his driver-side wheels and tires. How's that for karma? He tried to cut me off from a right-only lane, then he gave me the finger for not allowing him to do so, and he underestimated a DSM :wall: . I think he got what he deserved.
