how can you test a leaking injector ?
i did a cold compression test and #2 showed 120 while the rest were at 155
put some oil in all cylinders #2 raise to 170 , put all back together start the car burn all the oil , rechecked compression -- 155 all
across --
the shop foreman here told me that i could have a leaky injector and because i did when it was cold the fuel washed the cyl walls .
he also said i could off have a ring stuck and by adding the oil it release.
any thought on this ?

It's possible. I know that Seafoam can do wonders for injectors and stuck rings. Search on the key words "seafoam" or "MBCC" and read up. You'll find some wonderful information. I'm sure there is a way to test your injector but it probably involves open fuel spray, unless you have a logger or Link.

Only 5k on the injectors. I'd say it's most unlikely. Injectors are pretty stout as far as reliability. I'd lean more toward a sticking ring or valve. Seafoam can be added to the gas, oil or air intake.

Hey Burns, can you count how many times you violated rule 7 without capitalizing the beginning words of each sentence? Not to mention the "i's"

Comply or you will NOT be assimilated. You will be rejected.

Hope you find your compression problem.
