All my friends have Honda/Acura cars and all I do around them is take crap about the torqueless wonders we know today as a Honda.
Last night we where just riding around when we decide to see which was faster , either the drop top eclipse or the Acura. Of corse the other friends of mine figured the Rsx was gonna beat me, well I had to prove them wrong.
We go out to a FAR out in the country road count out 32 lines and line up.
I lopped the rpms around 3500, then the hands drop. I feather out the clutch while patting the gas to keep traction. I go 3/4 trottle fulley let out on the cluch and brake traction for a slit second. Then I shift at 6500-6700 from first and slam into second lossing traction again for a split second. His front bumper is at my rear about a foot back. :banana: I slam into third at 6300 and he is creaping forward. As we cross the line my front bumper is at his drivers door.
That car has one HELL of a 3rd gear. We go back and talk about it and he was stoked due to how close it was. That was probly the closest race I have had in a while. Not to bad for a heavy Eclipse I think.
