I'll probably pick up one of the Mishimoto radiators through JnZ since I guess they work well for the price.

We'll keep that bottom mount manifold in mind. The 1g front motor mount location is probably going to be the tricky part and would be in the way.
If it helps for reference you CAN run a gt42 with a hks manifold/on green knock off and the DNP t4 manifold. Blinkerfluid on here runs a gt42r on the on green manifold and still runs a stock radiator fan (with some trimming to the fan cage)

That's a 2g car though--front motor mount is moved to the left a few inches since it's bolted to the trans.

I forgot to mention this in the previous post, but I weighed the car at the track with me in it and it came to be 2888. I think it still needs to go on at least a 200lb diet.

Currently they're special order only, so call or email if you're serious about buying one. We're working on getting #'s for them first before putting it up on the website, but we're always open to taking on custom one-off types of projects. These are more expensive though since it's roughly twice the time as our normal manifolds to make.

No problem, I understand. I think we should have some numbers within the next few weeks as I just finished up the welding of the dyno-expected manifold today.

I went through the driveline and found out why I 1)broke a front axle, and 2) didn't go anywhere on the track when I did break that axle (I should have still had power to the rear with the spool).

This is my t-case output shaft:

I also found another 2" piece of it inside the t-case still when I drained the oil out of the rear seal. Looking around for a replacement, I could only find mostly 23 spline transfer cases, and mine was a 22, so tonight I swapped out the output shaft to a 23 spline and should have the tranny back in tomorrow. I still need to pick up the t-case I have lined up, but in the meantime I picked up a new replacement front axle that can be installed in the meantime.

Oh yeah, and I've also had this problem where my thermostat housing has been weeping coolant out slowly over time. I thought it was only while the car was running, but tonight I found a nice puddle on the tranny before pulling it out which wasn't there on Sunday. Either the gasket surfaces are warped or there's a tiny pin hole in the AN fitting weld that needs to be taken care of. Either way--pain in the butt, especially when I have to drain the coolant, fix this, refill, hope to go to the track just once more, and drain again to redo the radiator setup.

I decided to hold off on the thermostat leak fix until after next weekend's dyno day. After that weekend, it looks like the car will be going down for the winter and a few changes. I hope to get to the track this Sunday, as long as the weather holds out, for one last track visit.

In the meantime, I ended up installing the staging brake, but only mounting it. I bought about 16' of -03an line, two hose ends, and 2 AN fittings that go into the hand brake and that ran me a little over $100. I still need to pick up some more hose ends and T-fittings to tie into the brake lines, so I don't even want to guess how much that'll be. Here's the pics of the install so far.

I took the car around the block Sunday, and tonight as well. If I don't let it warm up here at the house and start driving it, it takes quite a while to get up to temp. I'll definitely be putting a normal unmodified thermostat back in later on. The car does pull pretty nice at only 20 psi and I just love how it sounds. :D

Yeah, I should be at Island Sunday.

Tomorrow looks decent weather wise..... partly cloudy, but I'm not seeing any rain. It's sooo tempting to drive this to work to say I can, but a 20 mile multi-stoplight drive, loud exhaust, and noisy gear lashing rear is going to drive too much attention to me I'm afraid and can just picture a ticket. Ugh.....what to do. :(

I drove it, and probably won't again until I get a second set of wheels and the rear diff shimmed up. But it made it in one piece. :)

I think I need to stiffen up my coilover spring settings some. The front tire seems to go up into the fender and start to cut itself up under very heavy braking. :(
