Hey guys/gals i've been doin some big turbo research and came across this big bouy.. Does anyone have one yet? Its huge. 75lbs!!

The supra that won the Texas mile this year used one of these.

Just curious....Looking for something.......unique

HA. It seems "everyone" has a 42r.. Just inquiring right now.

6" inlet. 3.5" outlet

There even the 4718 , but those last dimensions i just mentioned stay the same.

Are you f'n serious?

That is a HUGE turbo. 91mm inducer on the compressor. GT4202 has a 74mm inducer and that is BIG on a DSM.

BTW, the Supra that won the Texas mile was NOT running that turbo. It was running the smaller GT47-88 on a 3.4L stroker.

Maybe you were thinking of a GT45R which is next up in line from a 42R.

I couldnt even imagine. You would need 2 or 3 massive wastegates, man I cant even think about how big this turbo is. 6" inlet with a 5" exhaust. Now this a turbo that could actually suck a baby into.

Jesus Christ, you're going to need a 2.3l, and a 250 shot of nitrous to get that thing spooled.

So with these responses, I take it nobody ever put one one a dsm yet... Or, dare I say it maybe it cant even be done?

I would think if a 42R was enough to run 195mph in the quarter on a 2.0l don't think that would be neccesary if even useable on a 2.0l

That Supra had trouble spooling that turbo with a 3.4L Stroker and you want to run it on you 2.0L?
He was revving out to 9.5K
How high do you plan to rev you're 4G63?
