I got the turbo from my brother and I was wanting to stick it on my talon and I was wanting to know if it would work or not. and what I would have to do to make it work her are the specs : 320cfms@15 psi with a 8cm exhaust housing. I was also wanting to know how big could I go on the turbo. any input would be greatly apreciated:huh:

I would suggest getting a turbo that is more commonly put on the 4g63 to save head aches.

The starquests turbos look like they are plumbed differantly too.
well the reason why i dont get a turbo that is more commoly put on 4g63s is because i dont have the money and its a rebult turbo it only has 50 miles on it.

Well then use it. If you end up wanting more you can always upgrade from there. But 320cfms with an 8cm exhaust housing sounds like a terrible time.

terrible time why do you say that. is it beacuse i have to chang the orintation of the turbo and possibly fabricat a header and wast gate for the exhaust side of the turbo. im just wondering because i was planning on turboing it soon. and i was also wondering how big could i make it.

Damn, make an effort atleast. You dont capitalise crap, and you need to spell check your stuff.

Anyways, you'll spend more money fitting that turbo than buying a turbo eclipse.

The reason I say it sounds like a terrible time is because 320cfms is crap. A factory Big 16g flows around 550cfms. Also, an 8cm exhaust housing is gonna take awhile to spool. Therefore lots of turbo lag and no power up top to make up for it. Have fun!

I've got a good T25 you can have for $115. I'll even throw in a SMIC and lower/upper pipes for $55 if you need them.
I never wanna see a t25 on a 1st gen.

To the op: Buy a used 14b or 16g. You can get a used 14b in decent condition for between 50-150 shipped. Look on ebay or something.

the 12a cartridge can be used in the place of a 14b/t25 but alot of us starquests take the 14b and use it for a nice cheap upgrade.. the easies route for you to use the 12a is by putting it in the 1g exhaust housing and use the 14b compressor housing. or just look around for a 14b. i picked up a used 14b for 30$, granted it didnt have either housings, that didnt matter to me.

Since when is this the classifieds forum? Seriously.
OP..It won't work. It's too small, it's oriented the exact opposite of a 14b/16g. Don't bother. It's like putting a Caterpillar engine in a Ford Festiva....retarded.

I have a big 16g with a TD05 exhaust wheel in a 14b exhaust housing. Spools really quick!
ughhh ok anyway back to the main topic. If you want to put that turbo on your car and dont know how it will work just look at a compressor flow chart of that turbo then you should see how well it would work.
