Wow, just wow. This really sounds like a honda to me ^^^. IMO the Thermal is a rip off. I would rather buy a upgraded turbo than spend $600+ on an cat-back exhaust system.

Calm down junior I said in comparison and it was just my opinion so no need to get your bra all twisted :D . Also a new N1 is just about as expesive but either or they are both great exhausts. Hell my magnaflow sounds deeper then a N1 but like I said they all do their job correctly.

I have found the N1 on the internet for around $475.

Might as well just get a Real N1 muffler and take it to a local muffler shop to weld it on.

I absolutely love my N1, sounds calm at idle, and screams at WOT. Thats what I love.

Looks bad ass too with the angled muffler.

N1 is a high quality exhuast that fits great, sounds great, looks great, and is reasonably priced for the fact that it comes from APEXi. If you are looking for a bolt on no-nonsense cat-back it is one of the best out there.

If you are willing to be a little adventurous there are many comparable alternatives. The tsudo N1's and other vendor pieces, as well as DIY. Often the fit and finish on these is not as nice, however they are certainly functional.

I just got my turbo back N1 from extreme psi ( $685 to my door ) about 2 weeks ago. I really like it performance wise and it was easy to install. I don't care for the sound really, it has a deep tone, but a deep tone on a 4 cylinder to me just sounds stupid like your muffler fell off rather than having a good tone to it. Of course this is just my opinion. I prefer the way my 06 si sounds with an evo 2 cat back over my 92 talon tsi awd with the 3 in turbo back N1 setup. I do agree that buschur exhaust sounds good, but I met david Buschur once and he is a total dick, so I swore i would never by anything from him, so I went with the N1.

I'm not a big fan of the N1 (because I really like thermal), but it's not a bad exhaust. It doesn't sound nearly as ricey as some other stuff out there. Not an extremely deep or aggressive, but it is nice and mellow tone that's not cheap sounding.

Here's a vid - I'm no director but thought you might appreciate anything. I'm just getting used to this new camera and couldn't get it to stand up on it's own, so sorry about those delays.

If you have any questions let me know.

On YouTube the title of the video is:
1995 AWD 2g DSM Apexi N1 Exhaust
I'll change this to a link after it's finished processing.

I love my Apex catback. I went and got the full turbo back exhaust and got the RRE downpipe and RRE cat (got to love cali) and I have no complaints at all
