Whatever kind of way you do go now, if you were to get any kind of full body kit, go with a dark color paint. Body kits for 1g's and 2g's seems to look way smoother and nicer with a darker color IMO and perhaps even to all cars with body kits.
I really don't like the way the blitz kit looks, but for my 99 GS-T, I personally think it looks hella nice with my black paint. $2,000 paint though... :|

All joking aside, I don't know if I'm fully correct but I've heard that the Invader kit requires a bit of cutting or removal of the front energy absorber because of how the sides are shaped. I couldn't see compromising safety on my car just to have a body kit on it.
 
Holy shit, I've never seen anything as hideous as the rear of that orange dsm. Someone slap the designer of that kit please:chair:

+1, although mines is silver. post pics though.
 
I wouldn't worry about a body kit on a 1g haven't seen anything that look all thats clean. If you want to be different just swap out stock 1g parts mix and match, but make sure you repaint. If you do decide to buy a body kit make sure you paint it. If you can't afford the paint to cover it don't put it on.

I agree with EE. Here it is better to blend in then look all flashy.

Flashy is what gets the tickets. If you are someone who likes cop attention, then go for it.

Not only do body kits have issues with lining up properly, but it also reduces the value of your car.

Not if you go polyurethane and for the second comment; I mean really, think about it, how much does a DSM blue book for? especially any 1G..Only way someone would really worry about that is if they plan to sell/trade it in. But most peoples' DSM are project cars anyways besides that, thats another reason people end up parting out. Some people end up getting more money that way in the end.
 
Why put sharp angles and goofy square and triangle 'vents' on a beautiful curve of a car? The shape of the 2G is perfect, its not supposed to have attack wings and sharp points. Ruins the body lines completely. It is now a lump of shit with plastic on it, instead of a clean looking car.

I agree about the 2G body. Don't get me wrong I love the sleeper look too. I kept mine stock for awhile atually. But the blitz still goes along the body lines for the most part other than at the very bottom parts of each body piece. Now the Bomex on the other hand is a ugly bulky ass body kit that doesn't even look good on the 2g.
But besides all that I love my blitz and mines isn't cracked like fiberglass. Another reason I choose a blitz its because that at the time was "only" kit that had an option to come in full polyurethane. But I dont have vinyl, mad stickers, chrome tails, and park bench wings either. So mines is still very sleek looking and far from overly done unlike a lot of other ppl's who give body kits a bad rep.
