H/C/I 349ci built Windsor (N/A 7.4 @ 94ish), Turbo GSR hatchs and coupes, Few Vettes, 4-10 geared 289ci bolt-on 02 GT with a 125shot (8.5 @ 89 w/ a 100shot). To name a few on pump gas.

well, I pulled on a new Z-06 Corvette on the interstate the other day!!! The only problem is it was a older dude and I'm pretty sure his cruise control was engaged but I damn sure showed him some tail lights. Maybe I should have dropped back and showed him a ricer flyby but it seems so Un-DSMish. Actually, since building my motor up, I've beat some cars that a 1.8L SOHC does not normally kill but it's not a real great performance car. I mean, my wife's modded 03' Maxima (I/H/E/:S/C) with auto will pull from a roll. Front Wheel Drive is good on the highway but that's about it. In a 1/4 mile or stop light race, they do not hold up so well. No matter how hard you fight it, launching a FWD car is a catch-22. More power equals more power lost due to weight transfer and lack of traction during a launch. Now on to FWD DSM's blessed with a turbo. They are great for roll racing but not many people go for a roll race. Toyota Supra's love roll racing but good luck coming out on top of one of those. American Muscle cars are good in roll races because they can finally utilize all that displacement once it gets going and they get a good head start thanks to the traction provided by rear drive and the chassis setting the weight on the rear wheels from a launch. The overall point is, unless a person knows they have an advantage at roll racing, they are most likely not going to take the bait and therefore, you won't find a whole lot of FWD DSMer's posting roll race ownage.

What hell? How could you pull a Zo6 or a s/c maxima with a 1.8 built or not built. I'm sure you turboed that motor or something because that is downright amazing. I don't think I could pull a zo6 even with my 50 trim at 24psi on race gas.

Lol, I think he was kidding about killing the zo6... since he stated that it was a older guy with cruise engaged, and about doing a ricer fly-by.

That's an 11.60 car. What kind of times are you running?
Ill let you know in August at the shootout. All those races were done from a 40roll BTW. Digs are rarely done where im from unless its a slicked car vs a slicked car.

Those cars are nothing special. The Windsor'd 5.0 was a decent car. It ran a bolt on 302 with H/C/I and a 175 shot b4 he ran me, and he pulled that car by a car or so. From a low roll BTW. A guy i know with a 330whp DBB AGP 50trim SRT-4 pulled the 02 GT with gas by like 2 cars. From a roll and traction, it doesnt take much.

Theres videos of me merking that same SRT by like 2-3 lol.

Ok, the whole domestics not being able to go from a dig is kinda ignorant...it takes a good driver and an even better suspension set-up to do so. And I'm not saying by any means that they'll pull off better 60' times than an AWD car, just that it takes the correct set-up, as with anything.

I don't race much but here are a few i've managed:

04 wrx wagon: Stock, we raced 5 or 6 times (once from a dig) and I ended up pulling hard on him every time as soon as I was in second. From a dig he would pull away but by the end of second we were even and in third I would pull a car or two on him.

04 wrx wagon: Same car as previous but now had up-pipe, DP, magnaflow exhaust, K&N filter, reflash with slightly raised boost. We went from about 45 and were dead even all the way up to about 90.

Chrysler Crossfire: This actually happened today, I dont really know too much about the car (it wasn't a SRT6 though, I could tell from the wheels) but we raced from a 20mph roll ( I brake boosted to about 10 psi in 2nd) and by the middle of third I had pulled about 2 cars on him.

Pontiac Grand Prix GTP: Looked/sounded modded. I later saw the car at milan drag way where he was running a mid 14 at about 96 or 97 mph. I raced when my car was stock except for exhaust/drop in filter and we were even through the top of third.

93 Del Sol Si: D16z6 turbo (50 trim), vitara pistons, TunerToys Rods, 15 psi, APEXI S14 front mount adapted with custom piping, tuned on Crome 1.7 (I know because this was my old car, I raced the new owner.) We went from 25 and with me break boosting and him not, I pulled about a car on him when at the third honk but by the time he spooled he was GONE.

06 WRX STI: Belongs to a friend of mine, is completely stock. We raced on the highway, slowing down to about 40 and going to about 100 or so. Out of 9 races I won 4 and he won 5, our cars were pretty much dead even so the "win" ended up being whoever spooled first.

90 Eagle Talon: 14b, front mount, 2g maf and intake, exhaust and DP. Also belongs to a friend of mine, we raced and I would pull on in 2nd and 3rd.

Pic from one of our meets where you can see the talon, wrx, and my car:

Oh, and my car is a 5spd 98 gst with:
Intake w/ K&N
Dave Brode UICP (1g bov)
Greddy LICP
Joe P. MBC (15 psi)
DP
Cat delete
Apexi N1 exhaust
Gutted interior behind front seat, no sound deadening

Non ballbearing right? Let us know how that thing spools up on a 2.0L.
Yea Non BB. Im debating on either a built head or a built tranny with LSD for my next major mod. I kind of need and want both but cant figure out if i want a 10k RPM rev limit or the insurance of actually launching my car hard. Im leaning heavily towards a tranny.
