Me and my friend are heading to the mall after classes one day to pick up a few things, and right before my exit I see the headlights of what appears to be a last generation ford mustang. THe guy gets closer, and I see GOLD 5.0 badges, a supra style wing, and a driver with a mullet pimpin' with his girl. Too good to be true. I downshift to 3rd gear at 60mph, and tap the gas, letting him know I'm game. I let off about a car in front of him, and he lays into it. By the time i react, he is passing me with a full head of steam. I run out 3rd gear, and pull up to his door, hit 4th and pull sooooooooooooooo hard. I shut down after getting a comftorable 4 lenghth lead, we both know who won.
I have a question, was the 5.0 offered in non-cobra last generation mustangs ('95-'98???). The generation after the 5.0, and before the '99 up models. I thought, and so did my friend that they were all 4.6L's. I'm thinking the owner just put 5.0 badges on the thing, domestic rice???
