Yes, it will fit on 95-99 RS, GS, GST and GSX
Hi mitsumissile, thanks for the pictures the links you provided. I'm just curious about this thread talking about swapping EVO's brake calipers to eclipse 2G. I own GSX 98 right now, and I'll be getting a set of EVO8/9's brake calipers front and rear. For the front, will they directly bolt-on on my GSX's front knuckels? What about the rotors?
I was wondering as well If I could use big rotors from Power Slot 12.5" for 2g GSX with the caliper brakets they include.

Thank you,

Here you go pix of EVO8 brakes/calipers on DSM. You don't necessarily need JDM Galant knuckles for the front. EU Galant knuckles fit as well ;) dunno about US Galant knuckles though - just check.

Yes, stock 17" wheels don't fit, the ET is wrong and the disc hits on the calipers at the front. In the pix below - using stock EVO8 wheels coated in black.

From what I've heard you will definitly need Galant front knuckles.

First off, you're causing me work by stupidly quoting a long series of pictures 4 times. Next, you need to read the rules of the forum, paying particular attention to rule #7! We do not permit text or IM speak on this forum. Use of proper grammar, capitalization, and punctuation are a MUST.

This is your warning. If you fail to heed this warning you will take a short vacation from the site until you've read and agree to comply with the rules.

Thanks for playing!

Oh and welcome to the forums.

Thank you for all the ideas, I have a question for mitsumissile. If now I have 2g GSX 98, and I'll be getting the EVO8/9's set caliper brakes, will they directly bolt-on on my gsx? what about the rotors? I was wondering getting big brakes from power slot too. Do you think they will fit too?

I suggest reading the thread, all of the information you need is clearly stated. Anyways, to answer your questions, they will NOT directly bolt onto your GSX. You need to PM mitsumissile and have him order you some jdm galant knuckles. After you bolt those knuckles on your GSX then you put on the calipers and the rotors you have. You can use stock evo rotors or order some higher end power slot rotors. I am pretty certain that whatever will fit stock on an EVO will work with this setup.
