My new alt with a lifetime warranty took a shit, replaced it, that one took a shit, replaced it, that one took a shit....finally got my money back and went OEM.

Good ol' lifetime warranty rebuilt alternators.

I would just be trying anything and everthing. Shoot last time my car acted funny I was out till 1am. and turned out to be the Power pack was bad. Now I have to change my water pump bearing going out. I agree with Steve +1

OK, Well looks like I found the bad ground, one of the grounds, either for the turbo timer or the wideband had come loose to the point is was holding on by a couple threads, replaced the conectors and soldered them together again and I am holding juice. dropped about .75 volts in 45 minutes without the car on.

I did on the other hand go to start the car this morning and it instantly jumped to 3000 RPM's which I thought was weird and I instantly turned it off. I did hear something rather weird as it shut off, like a clunk. I have not investigated that much more than rotating the engine and it spins free. I do need to have the Madre watch the cam gears so I can get them lined up and check my timing again though I dont think thats the issue, I think it could be the starter that has been going bad for a while now. I did finally get DSMlink to connect to the ECU, apparently the bad ground was why it was not connecting ( one of the reason via DSMLink Wiki ). My Throttle Position was at 3% so I know that was part of the jump to 3k rpm. I adjusted my TPS to 0 throttle and redid my BISS which was backed out a bit so I think idle wont be an issue when/if I get it running again.

Currently doing a boost leak test and found quite a few in the piping I just had welded together, little pin pricks which I am currently JB welding, which is faster than waiting for the guy to get back to the shop and have him do it.. he isnt the quickest, only took two days to do my piping, photos to follow.

So.. some picture will be coming along and hopefully good news in the next 4 or 5 hours otherwise this weekend might be a bust.

Well, looks like the tentioner pulley somehow loosened up as the car shut down. Wierd thing is, the bolt was tight but the tentioner itself was extended farther then it was when I did the timing so thats the only thing that could have moved and it looked like it did. I have rotated the engine a full 6 revolutions at least 10 times over and over and over and there is no binding. I have also visually looked at the pistons and can see the valve reliefs in the pistons and I see no damage so I think I lucked out. I am redoing the timing as we speak and going to fire her up and see how she does.

I think the DSM Gods want me at the track hehe.

DSM Gods were looking on me with devine favor. Car started, car boost leak tested just fine, everything is fine.

Alternator is FAIL-FAIL-FAIL. Autozone doesnt have another so I am going to have to pull the one of the 95 and use it. Tomorrow I tune like I never tuned before. Do another oil change before I leave for track around 3pm.

Yeah, found it after I pulled out my shift light haha. Oh well, Ill rewire it sometime next week or something. Hopefully that is the last of the problems, Ill do a couple shake down runs with Dustin tomorrow and see if she survives.

Voltage is crap because the second I start the car the battery drains and dies.

I took the alternator to get it checked and it failed all tests so I have to get a replacment.
